Designed by Martins Camisuli Architects the original residence largely features exposed brick walls which add to the beautiful narrative of the extension. The project replaced an existing internal courtyard with a greater usable living area while adding a lovely kitchen and dining nook that utilizes the available space in a smart fashion.
The kitchen with its smart shelves large island and an industrial-style steel storage rack blends in with the living area while the dining room dazzles with gorgeous lighting and unassuming elegance. A minimal master bedroom kids’ bedrooms and bathrooms complete this unique and intriguing family residence where the fun times never end.
More often than not contemporary homes are shaped by the landscape that surrounds them the contours of the lot they sit on and of course local architectural style and weather conditions.
This gorgeous in is another case in the point as it uses exposed brick walls duct pipes and a wonderful array of diverse textures to create a unique elegant and functional modern home. Conjured up and brought to life by Shaping Your Space it is these contrasting finishes that give the loft its distinct aura.
Originally built in the 1950s the sweeping family home was subsequently altered several times resulting in changes that destroyed its beauty and played havoc with the interior space. It took a fabulous makeover from David Coleman Architecture to undo the mess!
